James jointly founded The Shore Group in 2008 with Lewis Yorke-Johnson. Jointly they have driven the growth of the Group to over £150m in annual revenues. From its origins as a construction recruitment company, James and Lewis have driven expansion of the Group into payroll, retail, executive search, site logistics and project delivery. As Joint Managing Director, James leads Group corporate affairs including company structure, financial accounting, banking relationships and insurances. In addition, James is responsible for risk management across all Group companies and oversees strategy and performance of the Retail Division and Boost Pay. James is also a driving force behind the Group's CSR strategy including the ethical recruitment strategy and charitable partnerships with Turning Tides, The Lighthouse Club and Foodbank.

Lewis jointly founded The Shore Group in 2008 with James Hobden. Jointly they have driven the growth of the Group to over £150m in annual revenues. From its origins as a construction recruitment company, Lewis and James have driven expansion of the Group into payroll, retail, executive search, site logistics and project delivery. As Joint Managing Director, Lewis is responsible for marketing, sales and key account management across all Group companies. Lewis is also Non-Executive Director of CLS UK Services and Southdowns Estimating Consultants. Lewis is also a driving force behind the Group's CSR strategy including our Brand ideals and latest community partnership with WBC Cares.

As Construction Director, Steve is responsible for delivering the annual construction and fit-out budget, developing new business and strengthening key client relationships. Steve has additional responsibility for delivering the Shore Group Logistics sales budget. In addition, Steve mentors our senior Business Development Managers and helps build the Group’s recruitment pipeline.

Carey is The Shore Group’s Operations Director with responsibility for Procurement, supplier performance and group credit control. In addition, Carey is responsible for rollout and development of the Portal and has ownership of all Group research and development activities. Carey joined The Shore Group in 2014 and has holds a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

As Group Financial Director, Richard is responsible for the Group’s financial strategy and management of the Finance division. Richard plays a key role in Group performance, overseeing P&L, cash flow and balance sheet positions. In addition, Richard supports the Group’s investments, overseeing their performance and is responsible for management of banking relationships. Richard is a Chartered Management Accountant and joined The Shore Group in Jan 2017.

Alan is a founding Director of Shore Group Logistics, our specialist Site Logistics company. Alan has over 20 years logistics experience helping deliver some of London’s most prestigious construction projects working client-side for Mace, Skanska and Westfield and as a contractor for Mace Contractor and McGinley Recruitment Services. In his role, Alan is responsible for the business performance and project delivery.
